A ksar is a village or community consisting of attached houses such as granaries and other structures like a mosque, bath, oven, and shops. Ksar (pluralis ksour) means fortified village or fort. One of the most famous ksour are Ksar Ouled Soltane and Ksar Ezzahra in Tunisia.
