Disneyland Paris, originally “Euro Disney Resort”, is an entertainment resort in Marne-la-VallĂ©e, a new town located 32 km (20 mi) east of the centre of Paris. Disneyland was the the most visited attraction in Europe in 2009.
The resort covers 4,800 acres (19 km2) including two theme parks, several resort hotels, a shopping, dining, and entertainment complex, and a golf course, in addition to several additional recreational and entertainment venues.
With 14.9 million visits in 2013, Disneyland® Paris is the most visited tourist destination in Europe. 2012 was a record year with 16 million.
