What to do in Colmar
Obviously Colmar is worth a visit and a true must-see when you are traveling in France. Take a night at one of the hotels or bed and breakfast while you enjoy the local facilities, restaurants and the atmosphere in Colmar old town. Additionally, I will recommend you to taste some local wine (Alsace wine or Alsatian wine). White wine from Alsace is absolutely wonderful. Colmar is located close to the famous Vin d’Alsace wine route. Due to its location close to both Switzerland and Germany, Colmar is easily accessible from many countries and cities. I can also recommend to take your bicycle into the centre of Colmar. If you are nearby it is a very good alternative to car or public transport.
